APPEARANCE: Kankuro bears a great resemblance to his father, the late Fourth Kazekage. His eyes are small, their color - green - barely discernible. Brown-haired and tan, he doesn't particularly draw the eye on his own. What gets him attention at all is the kabuki face paint he wears. This consists of a layer of white paint and markings in purple painted atop the primary layer. These designs have changed throughout the series; at the moment they're the most streamlined thus seen. As he is a puppeteer, Kankuro wears baggy black clothing that keeps him well hidden in shadows, as well as a headdress that keeps him further obscured. On the front of his shirt is what is presumably the symbol of his puppet troupe, and on his back he wears three scrolls that he uses to summon his three battle puppets.
PERSONALITY:Kankuro's personality is colored by his profession. Not only is he a shinobi, required to be cold, ruthless, and relentless, he is also both an actor and a puppeteer. He is often crude and violent, and is always manipulative. He likes to set things up elaborately, as one would set the stage for a play, and enjoys successfully executing a plan. He doesn't seem to genuinely care for many people aside his siblings, probably a remnant of his father's negative influence. He likes to provoke people and play around with their emotions. Overall, he tends to be deceptive, never letting anyone around him get a clear picture of who he is.
